Product Specialist
Jakarta Raya
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure sound knowledge and technical arguments for the SLS range of products
  • Promote the full range of products, including Bearing, Seals and Power Transmission products to customer base.
  • Liaise with suppliers engineering staff on an , as required basis regarding technical issues
  • Quality checks for non conforming product
  • Ensure supply of special products are in accordance with specifications
  • Negotiate special prices for unique items with suppliers or distributor.
  • Investigate and analyses stock requirement for contract accounts
  • Liaise with Product manager to evaluate and return to suppliers non conforming products
  • Quote special projects - OEM projects - new projects, under direction of Sales Manager
  • Promote new PT products within the SLS group, as directed by Sales Manager.
  • Ensure Health and Safety regulations and conditions conform to standards
  • Report and co-ordinate the progress of the Customer Visits to the Sales Manager
  • Provide technical support as required, both to Internal and external customers
  • Training of staff as required
  • Provide weekly reports of activity to Sales manager
  • Provide reports to RC Branch Manager on Territory activities, only as required
  • Ensure Professional Training to sites, using the SLS training program
  • Maintain records of all training activities
  • Ensure Management keeps you conversant with current training programs
  • Learn and utilize the use of survey software.
  • Actively pursue the concepts of Cost Saving, Project Tracking, 5 PSP, Planners
  • Actively undertake Resourcing in customer warehouse.
  • Manage and control sales service engineering territories by customers
  • Initiate reports on fields activities both for new business and the retention of old.
  • Product training and installation procedure
  • Supply technical data to both, Customers and Sales Representatives
  • Have thorough knowledge of fixed and mobile plant process
  • Communicate with Sales Manager, Customer Service Officers to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Co-ordinate with Sales Manager, Senior CSO on all business commercial activity & for Technical Activity.
Requirements:
  • Male
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills ( able to read and speak English is a must – our catalogues is all in English )
  • D3/S1 Have a technical background (mechanical engineering experience a big plus)
  • Below 30 years old
  • Able to drive a car and with a valid license
  • Enjoy meeting customers
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good command of MS Windows and MS Office
